The SEIA will house results of the socio-economic and environmental impact assessment conducted during the project, evaluating the several factors which influence the decision-making process when adopting drone technologies.
The economic assessment will be based on a Life Cycle Costing (LCC) analysis which will explore the economic benefits of the multi-purpose use of drones. The environmental assessment will utilise a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology to assess the environmental impacts associated with the uptake of drones, with the aim of improving the overall environmental profile under consideration of different regulatory scenarios.
